Since our Div 1 kids are swimming this week this song is a fun one for the Grade 3s to learn! However, you can learn this song at home no matter what grade you are in!
Al agua pato
El que quiera nadar un rato,
como un pato, como un pez.
Que se saque los zapatos,
como yo me los saqué.
Al agua pato, pato,
sin los zapatos, patos.
Al agua pato, pato,
y al agua pez.
El que quiera nadar un rato,
como un pato, como un pez,
Tiene que mover los brazos
Y al mismo tiempo los pies.
Un poquito panza abajo
y otro poco panza al sol,
Cada cual a su manera
goza de la natación.
Al agua pato, pato,
sin los zapatos, patos.
Al agua pato, pato,
y al agua pez.

The Grade 2s have been working on Soy Una Pizza.
The Grades 1-3 kids watched the story of Napi and the Rock. This was a collaborative performance presented by Making Treaty 7 and the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
My treat was to watch the children as they watched and listened to the performance. I am attaching the video for your enjoyment as well.
Did you every wonder why you had to learn the recorder in Elementary School?
